This custom farrier van was built on a former Amazon delivery van, giving us a large, spacious platform to turn into a fully equipped mobile workspace. With plenty of interior room to work with, this build is designed around storage, organization, accessibility, and making the most of the generous space inside the van. The interior is fully lined for a clean, finished, durable workspace. An anvil stand bracket and dedicated anvil storage keep the heavier equipment secure and organized, while a forge swing-out mounted directly to the lined interior wall allows the forge to be moved into a convenient working position when needed. At the rear of the van, a full-extension rear door canopy creates additional shade and protection over the work area. A custom slide-out workstation makes excellent use of the available space and includes a grinder, multiple storage drawers, a built-in storage closet with an additional drawer, a 10-inch tool holder, and a drill press. This build is also a great example of how we can work with equipment and storage you already own. The customer provided several of his own drawer systems, and we incorporated them into the finished layout rather than requiring everything to be replaced with new components. Storage is a major feature of this van. A large 9-high by 5-wide shoe rack provides 45 individual shoe-storage spaces, while two wall-mounted 1 x 7 pad racks—one on each side of the interior alley—keep pads organized, visible, and easy to reach. With 110-volt power, interior lighting, and a high-velocity fan, this spacious farrier van is set up to function as a comfortable, organized mobile shop with the tools, storage, and workspace needed for a busy working farrier.
